Join BCHC! |
|
Prospective members of BCHC represent a wide
cross-section of Backcountry enthusiasts. For that reason, our several
membership TYPES, as well as the many Local Units situated throughout
California provide a variety of choices to meet every Member's needs.
|
|
MEMBERSHIP is a simple, 3-step process:
selecting a membership TYPE; determining Local Unit affiliation; and,
submitting a Membership Application Form with your check made payable to
BCHC. |

California, click HERE.

for the form. To join a different BCHC Unit, click HERE
for the general membership application and specify which Unit you wish to
join. |

most suitable for you. Click on each option to see the details below, then
indicate your membership preference on the form.
|
|
|
|
|

group nearest either your residence or your favorite trails area.
|
|

ready for convenient mailing. Your selected Local Unit will be
informed of your new membership, and you're all set. Subscriptions to the
newsletter of Backcountry Horsemen of America and to BCHC's own newsletter,

contact you regarding their many activities, all of which are open to all
BCHC members. Most Local Units also publish their own newsletters; plan on
receiving those as well. The Sequoia Unit publishes a monthly newsletter.

officially a type of membership within BCHC, this term is used by the
DataCenter to refer to a growing portion of our group. Many of our FAMILY
memberships involve persons with DIFFERING LAST NAMES residing at the same
address. In order for each of TWO voting (adult) persons to be listed on
membership rosters under their own last names, we must handle their records
a little differently. (Note: BCHC must insist that both parties reside at
the same address to qualify for the FAMILY membership.) Family/Shared type
members are encouraged to participate in such activities as our annual
Spring Rendezvous, as well as the many activities of their selected Local
Unit. (The Units also provide their affiliated members with news of local
